Terms of Use

1. Provider and licence

Snag Pro is provided by Halo AI Services. Subject to these terms and the Apple Standard EULA, you receive a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple-branded products you own or control as permitted by App Store rules.

2. Purpose and professional advice

Snag Pro records, organises, exports, and shares property defects and handover evidence. It does not provide building, surveying, structural, safety, regulatory, legal, or financial advice and does not determine compliance with a contract, warranty, regulation, or professional standard.

Templates, priorities, dates, and suggested next actions are organisational aids. Check your contract, warranty, statutory rights, and limitation periods, and obtain qualified advice where appropriate, especially for safety or structural concerns.

3. Your records and responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy, legality, and relevance of information you enter
• Having permission to capture, store, and share photos, signatures, addresses, contact details, and confidential information
• Reviewing generated reports and exports before relying on or sharing them
• Keeping independent backups where loss of records would matter
• Protecting your device, choosing secure destinations, and using the app lawfully

You retain ownership of content you create. Halo AI Services receives no licence to it unless you deliberately send it to us, in which case you permit its use only for support, service security, and legal obligations.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

Paid features may be offered through auto-renewing App Store subscriptions. Apple shows price, billing period, trial availability, and local taxes before purchase.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation.
• A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID account settings.
• Restore Purchases uses Apple's StoreKit service.
• Refunds and billing disputes follow Apple's terms and applicable consumer law.

Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.

5. Availability and prohibited use

We may change app features for reliability, security, compliance, or usefulness. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent compatibility with every device or operating system, or that an export will meet a third party's requirements.

You must not misuse the app, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security, reverse engineer it except where law expressly allows, distribute unlawful or infringing content, or use it to harm another person.

6. Termination

Your licence ends if you materially breach these terms or the Standard EULA. Snag Pro is local-first and has no Halo account, so we do not remotely delete your on-device projects. Terms intended to survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, liability, and governing law, continue to apply.

7. Warranties and liability

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights. To the maximum extent permitted by law and the Standard EULA, Snag Pro is provided without additional warranties.

Halo AI Services is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, loss caused by inaccurate user input, missed deadlines, third-party decisions, or records lost after you fail to keep an appropriate backup. Any liability that remains is limited to the amount you paid for Snag Pro in the 12 months before the event, except where such a limit is prohibited by law.

8. Apple

Apple is not responsible for maintenance or support except as stated in the Standard EULA. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce the applicable terms against you.

9. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Isle of Man, subject to mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rights where you live and to the governing-law terms in Apple's Standard EULA.

We may update these terms for future use of the app. The current version and date will remain on this page.
